I just started the Asentiv Pro workshop with Asentiv.  The first class focused on building a foundation knowing why we were really in business. What was that one moment in our lives that made us decide to not have a job, but create a business?

The first thing that came to me was when I was a web grunt. I was working at a very large corporation & I did what I was told. I was not in a position that supported creativity or ideas. Someone would call me, tell me what needed to be updated on the web site & I did it. I never even met this person; it was just “The Voice”.

One day started like any other. I got the call from The Voice; I updated the site. Minutes later I picked up the phone & The Voice started screaming at me at the “stupid mistake” I made on the last update. What could have been a simple misunderstanding turned into a moment that changed my life?

I didn’t know how to articulate it then, but I knew deep down that I only wanted to be part of something where I was respected for my knowledge and had a forum to share ideas.

That experience helped shape my life’s purpose. I am in business to help moms create a location-independent business so that they can spend more time with their family, share their voice, and create even more freedom in their lives. (Contact me if you’d like to work together!)
